Chassis:
Chassis B9499997 was one of two Sunbeam Tigers prepared by Brian Lister for the 1964 edition of the 24 Hours of Le Mans. Piloted by Keith Ballisat and Claude Dubois, the Coupe's race ended very early as its engine failed spectacularly after just three hours. Not raced again by the works team, the #8 car was sold along with the prototype in 1965. Meticulously prepared for racing and fitted with a 289 Ford V8, it is today a regular at the most prestigious events including the Goodwood Revival TT race, in which it is pictured at several editions.
