Featured above is one of the five Type 29/30s raced during the 1923 Indy 500, equipped with a single seater body produced by Lavocat & Marsaud. Sadly it did not make it to the finish and it was not raced after. Fully restored, the car has an interesting list of former owners, including Bugatti authority Uwe Hucke. It is shown above during the 2004 Christie's auction at Retromobile where it sold for just under EUR350,000.
