Seen here at the 1969 Race of Champions, this the second of three McLaren M7As built. It was used by Denny Hulme for two seasons and driven to four race wins, including three Grand Prix victories. Following two outings early in 1970, the car was sold to privateer Tony Dean. He fitted the car with a Chevrolet V8 engine for the 1971 F5000 series. His highest ranking was 4th. Today it is the sole survivor of its type and can be seen in a French museum, still fitted with the small block V8.
