"Looks like a nice cruiser. Streamlined only for the young? What will damage the sales of this vehicle will be gready salespeople with no restrictions on price control, just exactly what caused the failure of the chrysler prowler. Will GM allow this happen to them ? If a vehicle is advertized at a certain price, then by god that's what the dealers should let it go for. Also the dealer should provide more perks to the purchaser,ie; courtesy oil changes and services. What also kills GM is the lousy warranty period. Sincerely, Roger Service Flt. Mgr Ret."

"this concept will fail just like the pt cruiser. its a nice concept that will be popular for a year or two, and then it will die out. i personally like it; not love it, but like it."

I think the Chevrolet SSR Concept is a neat little detailed truck. It looks to be as a mixture of a PT Cruiser, Baja Subaru, and a 1959 Lemans Shelby Mustang. The thing looks like a luxury truck that could tear up a mud hole. I also like the fact that it is the only convertable truck. Chevys are my favorite band of vehicles so I caint complain about any prototype or new model that it puts out. I think the SSR is the neatest prototype of its class and decade. I wonder if it sold. Maby it is a limited edition, one year model, but the real question is how well does it prform. Derek Moore, Plainview High School, Louisiana
