rb30 1-10-2003 |
this little beauty has the same block as the c110 skyline. one of the worlds greatest bits of kit. the L24 block later turned into the rb30 which later evolved into the rb26dett. the 240z also had bigger brothers or sisters really, the 260 and 280, they also used the L series block but increased the bore for the 260 and did the bore and stroke in the 280. fortunately the 2.4 litre was a much more effective weapon on the street and track. on the compliance plate of my bros 240z it claims 152bhp/7100rpm. it now has triple webbers and easily makes 190bhp, it goes better than me mates HSV sv5000 V8 commodore in a straight line and absolutely kills it through the twisty stuff. the independent suspension is awesome. |
