I just test drove the Murano, WOW, what a ride, I thought that I would never buy an SUV but this one has the power and ride of a car. I cant' wait to get one.

"Everyone wants to rave about a new design in a Japanese SUV, car, etc. I'll admit it has some nice powertrain & interior features, but it also possesses that all to common molded soap bar look & is vying for the title of most hideous vehicle on the road, right there with the Pontiac Aztec & that lizard-like Lexus RX300. Believe me its shape won't be remembered by many in 5 years, nevertheless I forgot to mention that it has this going for it; a real name, not one of those machine designations: RX300, G35, 535i. MLH-engr."

Just test drove the Murano and would say that it drives better than Pilot or HIghlander....has Xenon lights as option and feels more car like than most SUV's.
 A winner

You have to drive it to believe it. Nissan has created a monster of a truck I drove this thing the other day, and Ill tell you it takes a few minutes to get use to because the car Does not up shift- it just goes like a bat out of hell the rpm at 7000 and the car keeps accelerating. I had this polish sales lady in the back seat holding on to what ever she could grab, the poor lady was a little green actually. I should not say a poor, it was her idea to take the small street so I could accelerate better. But never mind the sales lady, this truck drives, looks, and feels like a dream. I was very impressed. My lease is up on my 540I that I drive every day, I also own a raising Corvette, and occasionally, drive my wifes ML 320 when it snows. Ive owned many cars over the years and never kept one longer then one year. I wasnt sure if an SUV was going to be my next car. I test drove many SUVs in the last year and I thought of buying out my lease on the 540. But today I cant wait to get the Murano. This car gets two thumbs up in my book. I could only wander what the V8 FX45 from Infinity would be like to drive.

"I've driven everything out there even remotely in this class (4Runner, RX300, MDX, Liberty, Cherokee, Pilot, Highlander, Explorer, Envoy, Trailblazer, M Class Mercedes, Rover(s)) and can honestly say that Nissan has a winner. Quiet, good fuel mileage, great handling but smooth riding, good seating position, lots of room, beautiful and functional interior are the main features where this vehicle really shines. I ""live"" in my car and am at the end of a 3 year lease on an Acura 3.2TL which has been a great car. Moving over to the Murano from the Acura was an easy decision as was opting not to buy the other vehicles listed. """

Drove one today - finally an SUV that can take a corner (perhaps excluding BMW but its not $60k) Lots of power and torqe yet gets 25 mpg! Not to contradict another writer but tons bigger than new little Jeep, even bigger than an RX300! We never thought we'd find an SUV that was exciting to drive but this is it! Luxurious too! Bose sound, memory seats, dual climate etc. etc. Seeing in believing - Nissan has a winner!
 Ummmm, Skyline?

I think you've added too much magnification to your glasse, this car is about the size of a freelander, or more like a Liberty/Cherokee. Range Rover won't exactly be quivering in there boots when they see this beast coming at them. think kitten more than tiger.
 At last...

At last a real contender from Nissan to take on the Range Rover. It looks nice, it's got an excellent engine... Go Nissan!!!
