It's handling characteristics is just not up to standard....it's got power YES but when it comes to tight corners it's just too heavy...you just can't turn this BRICK around fast enough, it'll just understeer...then when you accelerate the tail kicks out uncontrollably. I think a Honda CIVIC can beat this car in a downhill mountain course. The only good thing about this car is a straight line power...thas it...It also sucks fuel like nobody's business... I'm sticking with the Japanese hi performance cars...you can beat this in a straight line and around corners and half the fuel consumption. |
Nicely Done, HSV!!! |

This is a very special car for HSV, it stand out from the rest not becasuse of it row stunning performance like the other HSV does, infact is less stunning compair to the brothers in the family, but this car might as well change the furture of the current HSV. How so? This car open up a whole new marketplace for HSV, Coupe 4 is a upclass car which stand in the same level as the CLK or the 6s' in BMW, it appeal to buyers not only to pentolhead like it use to be, but also for high income owner who like to have an australian car which refect their love of australia. By saleing this car HSV might found yet another souce of income to streghth their already strong finacial backgound. (GM has nothing to do with this) The car is great in all aspect, is hard not to see Coupe 4 will become another sucsses in HSV. Go Aussie!!! |

Crewman, Adventra, Cross 8, Avalanche, Coupe 4... It's amazing to see Holden bring out such a variety of models. And this is just from Opel's Omega platform. Holden made a record profit of 230 million last year compared to Ford Australia's 50 million. After Ford fell into a 500 miliion loss from the AU Falcon it had no choice but to get a helping hand from FoMoCo to re-engineer what was meant to be Ford Australia's global car. After a futher 500 million dollar investment Ford now have the BA Falcon with a DOHC 6, Cobra V8, and a multi-link IRS. Compared to the 160 million it cost to make the VY series Commodore. And further work is to be carried out on the BA due to its weight. While Ford will hit back with its soon to be released Territory, Holden and HSV have released a total of 6 new vehicles in as many weeks. Holden is Australia's biggest car exporter followed by Toyota and Mitsubishi. And while Holden's Cars are now shipping to the U.S. and Europe as well as the middle east. Soon It will be exporting the award winning HFV6 made right here in Australia all over the world. The best just keep getting better... |
