Not surprisingly this car also became known as the Glaserati, in particualr due to its resemblence to the Quattroporte. Glas engineering became famous as they first applied a belt to drive the OHC rather than a chain which was common in the sixties. Due to its reduced maintenance requirements this belt has greatly contributed to the wide spread use of OHC's in smaller cars. |
