Im slightly surprised that it says, its going to be put into production in 2007. I went in one yesterday, and im convinced we're still in 2006. And what a car. I recorded a time of 5.9 seconds to 60mph as my friends Dad, a chauffeur, took the car for a spin. He found a flat, long stretch of road, and simply floored it...and it is quick. The interior however does not complement its brilliant performance. It is very chunky inside, and is made of far to much 'plastic' material. Very confortable seats, and the rear view camera - to assist with parking - is fun, although it was anoying everytime it was bleeping. One thing I have established is that it is not suited to a chauffeurs car, it is too sporty. Switch the suspension to 'Sport' and it will blow you away. As it happens, my friends Dad will be getting a new car, at the moment, while working for the Olympic Commitee in London, they are in talks to get a fleet of Rapides! |
