"This car is most probably the most complete car ever made. Incidentally, the pictures shown here are of the 2002 car. Since then the front and rear light clusters have been redesigned so it looks a lot better in my opinion, and is yet more aerodynamically efficient, and also the engine has been slightly modified I believe, to produce just a few more horsepower, but I'm unsure of actual figures there. Not that it matters too much, as every one of these cars is custom made, so if you wanted a more powreful bottom end I have little doubt Koenigsegg would have a good go at that for you! As is fairly obvious from the figures, this car is very very fast. It really does go some. And as far as the comment of ""well it's not as fast to 60 as the Veyron"", well that's a fairly pointless comparison really. The Veyron will probably never be produced, and if it is they will probably sell about 3. You won't run into one on a road or track, unless it's a fully modified track car, which is no comparison as it's not road legal. And besides, is 3.2 seconds not fast enough for you? At those kind of speeds your time is more dependant on your clutch control than anything else. Perhaps a gear change as well, but that depends on the car. 60 in 1st, magic. This car is superbly designed and thought through. Every detail works for the car, there's not a single bolt that was just ""put there cos it works"". It's remarkably practical as well, as the engine's very dosile up to about 3,000rpm, allowing for comfortable road driving. The suspension's also very strange. You feel every bump in the road, but they're all beautifully damped, so they don't send you through the roof, you just know they're all there, and I think that's great, really involving. As for the interior, also very well designed. The seat is made of carbon fibre so it's very light, with just pads on top of the carbon, and only where your body will actually come into contact. It's very clever, saving a little bit of weight, but basically it looks cool. The pads used I think are gel filled, so the seat actually moulds perfectly around your body, spreading the forces evenly accross the entire contact zone, so it's very comfortable even on long journeys. I believe the Mustang engine was a superb idea. It's a lot lighter than a 5.7 would've been, so the balance is more in the front than it would've been, allowing for more progressive handling, and also meaning should the car take off over a bump, it won't land on its backside, ripping out the transmission, a legendary Porsche 911 trick. But there's also the cost issue as well. The LS1 isn't likely to be as cheap to produce as the supercharged Mustang engine, which will be in the new model for many years. The fact that the engine is supercharged by the manufacturer is always helpful as well, as supercharging an LS1 could easily reduce the engine life and reliability. Ford has no doubt spent millions on making the Mustang engine totally reliable, so it's a good engine to start tweaking if you're a bald Swedishman."

Apparently, it seems that this car is one of the fastest in the industry. But despite the fact that this car is fast and uses ford power train. This car has more to offer with its seductive design which is giving it a very beautiful futurastic style that no other super car has. Technically in my opinion this car has it all and a lot more offer according to the research I have done. The only super sport cars that have style are mostly Italian sport cars such as Lamborghini and Ferrari. This car might not be very popular to many people but it certainly grabbed my attention with its sliding doors and removable top. I'm sure not that many super sport cars as fast as this have removable tops!!!

"The mustang maybe a small block engine, but at 4.6L i can hardly call they're ""small"". It's a quad-cam V8 engine which IMO is definitely better than any big pushrod. and dont forget how ""big"" is the Jag XJ220 and F40 engine is, displacement is definitely not a big issue when building a supercar. You need to consider good balance when choosing an engine for a car like this, having a big, bulky, overweight but powerfull engine will upset the car balance. plus i think the engineers who built this car have done the math and they think the Mustang engine represents the best cost/performance for the CC. They're certainly not biased to a certain manufacturer. BTW i dont really like Ford too....."

Okay, this Swedish kid is on to something. Great concept, beautiful styling and very unique look. The article in Road & Track on this car was very interesting. The only suggestion: Use a REAL engine like a 5.7 LS1 from a Z06 or a Cadillac Northstar and supercharge THAT!... A Ford 4.6? c'mon, they sux. I wouldn't put a Mustang small block in a car that looks this good!

Oi Oi Oi!!!! An aussie helped co design this! By the way guile_law (if that is your real name) you'd have to purchase this over a gt90. One simple reason ford only made the gt90 as a prototype. You know how the car companys waste millions of dollars on making rediculus(spelling?) cars to entice buyers then go no but the is this piece of shit thats kinda the same. thats all ive got to say

This Swedish made supercar is incredible, it also looks incredible. It has a Ford based 4.6 litre supercharged V8 engine with 655 hp under the hood like a 2002 Dodge Viper GTR. With phenomenal top speed of 390 kph. This car will make big sales if Sweden produce more, I personally would buy one compared to the Murcielago, Maranello, and Ford GT90. There is one thing that bothers me, the shape is similar to a Ford GT90 just wondering if it was designed by the same person?
 Nice...

"This is a great looking car. Very powerful with 650hp and fast with a top speed of 390km/h. 100km/h in 3.2 seconds is very good; but not so if compared to the Bugatti EB 16/4 Veyron 2003. Aspirated by a supercharger or more. 4.6 liter mid-engine. Very nice... Great job Koenigsegg."""
