the Serenissima was built by grandfather. hand made all by himself his name was Alphonse F. Kovoleski or better know in the racing world as Alf Francis. He toured with Sterling Moss all through out Europe and later in the early 80's he came to America and married my grandmother. Mumsie Francis. He is in the sports car encyclopedia. I am just 12 but he still means a lot to me even after his death in 1983. He died because of cancer. I have a few of his valuables like his helmet. It says Serenissima and with the logo above it.

Sometime in the early '50s, I remember a road car that resembled the "Breadvan." I thought it was a Cunningham, but, after an extensive search, cannot find anything about it.

The rear of the car was almost vertical and there was a reference to a German(?) expert and designer who claimed that the shape was optimal. I believe it was built bu an Italian firm. The car was, in photographs/drawings, a luxuriously appointed hardtop coupe and definitely destined for the road.

Can anyone tell me if this is the figment of an old man's imagination?

Thanks for all your good work.
