I've owned faster cars..... |

Had my Exige for almost a year. Paid a ridiculous price for it (we only have one dealer in Western Australia) and it came with nothing (not even a radio)! They said it had airconditioning - but admitted that it really doesn't work. The first project on the car was to remove the roof! I love convertibles - but the exige roof does not come off without the engine cover! So I made a GRP mould of the back section of the roof (where the engine cover attaches), laid-up a new roof section, cut-off the bits I didn't need and bolted it back on the car (after I painted it black). The car is a great head-turner but my 1979 manual 928 was a lot quicker and a lot more predictable when it was ready to swap ends. The car needs more instruments (no oil-pressure or oil-temp) and 20% more horsepower. |

Many cars have better a 1/4 mile time , many have a higher top speed , but only a few can chase it around a track .That's the place where you enjoy the most the Exige. |
