I, too fell in love with the BAT cars when they were first shown and how I wished I could possess one of them. The fact that a 17 year old could could own one just blew me away. These cars were and are the stuff of dreams. The very thought of anyone not believing in these cars, in their beauty, in the passions they arouse is incomprehensible. They exist in a lofty world where genuine art can only occupy. They have the same impact on me as Neruda the poet or Chagall the painter. The new car must be finished. Mere money or power should be second to the power of this great piece of art. It is a testament to the ability of mankind to transcend our humanness and approach that which can survive. Finish it so we can all believe in ourselves. |

It almost reminds me of the first vette, it has similar lines it it. Actually it makes me wonder what GM could do with a vette makeover, using modern styling to "re-create" the vette like they have with the 2010 Camaro, using the 1969 for styling cues.... hmmm |
