Thanks alot, the bonnet is all brushed. It took a while. I just masked off the basic shape, filled it in dark, then made each division at different angles. To do this I smudged the red into the selection, then burned or dodged it to the correct shaddows. i then used gaussain blur to get rid if the inperfections in the seplection due to the burning/dodging, then i resmudged it. I dad that to all of the airbrushed areas to get it looking extre smooth! 
I dont mind sharing any techniques if you want to ask, share the wealth, thats the way to go, so ask away if you want to know somthing and ill try to explain it the beat i can.
