Using the above method I calculated that the McLaren would need 633hp to do 386km/h, which is only 6 more that the engine's actual output, so pretty accurate, about 1%.
So I stand by my calculation that the F1 would, theoretically, match the Veyron's top speed of 403km/h with 731PS/721hp.
