Well, their government isn't run by Bush, and that's a definite plus.
However, nobody in Brunei has been allowed to vote in Brunei since the early sixties. Considering the population and the wealth of the country, Brunei could easily maintain the world's highest standard of living. Too bad they're not too close to the top of that list. In fact, Brunei's HDI was only at 31 in 2001. |
