Welter Racing has withdrawn their Peugeot powered WR from the 12 Hours of Sebring. Apparently, their shipping container was held up at the Le Havre port and missed the boat to transport the car across the Atlantic. They have ruled out shipping the car and spares with a cargo-jet, due to the costs as well as the time frame. The French team will now concentrate on preparing their cars for the 24 Hours of Le Mans, with the possibility of running some Le Mans Series races as well.
