Yeah it's the first time in several years that there is no TVR on the grid. The performance of the single TVR at Ricard was not very impressive and neither is the car's track record at Le Mans. I don't believe the Maserati has ever been homologated by the ACO because its too wide. It was only allowed to run in the FIA GT and ALMS with restricted Aero and weight penalties. Last year the ACO almost forced the ALMS to scrap the Maserati entries with threats of no longer allowing them to use the Le Mans brand. I believe the problem was solved by slowing the MC12 even further down.
