Steinmetz Opel Vectra GTS Concept

Steinmetz presents the Steinmetz GTS Concept Car as a world exclusive at the Essen Motor Show 2002. Even in standard form the coupe-like sports saloon reveals its dynamic character, which the Steinmetz designers have subtly emphasised with aesthetically charming and aerodynamically efficient bodystyling components.
The Steinmetz front is convincing thanks to the front spoiler with enlarged air intake and the Steinmetz front grille for top and bottom, in characteristic honeycomb design.
The connection between front and rear is formed by the sports mirrors, the side skirts and the aluminium filler cap cover.

The resolutely sporting nature of the Steinmetz GTS is indicated by the multipiece rear wing Type II with its complex aluminium feet and the rear skirt insert with the striking twin rear silencers in the characteristic Steinmetz trapezoid design.
The wider wheel arches on the front and rear stand out. They make the car look wider and create space for the multipiece Steinmetz competition alloys in 8.5Jx18" ET 30 with 235/40ZR18 Continental Sport Contact 2 tyres, and the 20 mm spacer plates mounted on both axles.
