What made me give up was when I found the same pictures of what I believe is this model on different pages but with different model names. Can anyone give me a definite answer?

This car is generally known as UAZ 451/452 (different engines).
But during the 80s the name was changed to:
3741/3746 - van
2206/22069 (earlier 452W) - 11-passenger microbus
3962 (earlier 452A) - ambulance based on the microbus
3303/33035/330036 (earlier 452 DM) - pick-up
In 1995 also a kombi version was added, named 3909.
The car on the photo is most probably the 3909 kombi version.
