To get carbon fibre panels made for that would cost a LOT. CF front clam for the Lotus Exige is £6k, and those are made in massive bulk because they use them in the race series. For the AMV8 you'd have development costs, production costs ... after you've done with that you would've been better off spending your money on a car that is meant to go massively fast and that is already stripped down. Though that said, it probably wouldn't look anywhere near as sexy as the AMV8
