It follows the classic Italian designs of the late 1950s which, interestingly enough, Exner (an American) deeply influenced at the time. Exner worked on the design for the Caravelle during the latter part of 1959

Yes a consultant for Ghia, was also partly resonsible for the Fiat 2300S Coupe
