A gain (or loss in this case) is at least a step in the right direction. There is also verying grade of that engine (some are extremly light but really really expensive as opposed to reasonble)
Well ls1 uses a plastic manifold quite an ingenious motor but for a 15k (our cost retials higher) base replacement cost id shure hope it was.
