It's hard to write down how to pronounce nasal vowels in French. I was taught to say "un bon vin blanc" with all four sounds different. So the "an" in Mans is like "blanc" and not "bon". Try pinching your nose and saying "mang" but with a slightly deeper "a" sound.

Lemon in French is citron, which is not to be confused with Citroën (cit-ro-en).
