The 2nd impact was alot closer to 70 degrees. I cant agree that the first impact actually helped him. Had he not hit the first wall, its likely he wouldve scrubbed off alot more speed leading into what became the 2nd impact, and wouldnt have been as close to clearing the barrier leading to the hairpin as he was ultimately.
