He's wrong.
At current consumption we meet the crossover where new oil finds starts to drop within the next decade.
New field production is small compared to those already tapped.
Unless we reduce our rate of growth of consumption it will be gone in 50.
Shell company has had to be honest and publicly lots of managers falling on sowrds over the huge errors they were publishing on gas/oil available. They have re-estimateed and it's WAY down.
