I definitely see the influence of the Veyron on the Chiron or the Chiron on the Veyron, depending on whichever came first.

In the late '90s there were several Bugatti concepts - the EB112, EB118, EB218 and EB 18/3 Chiron, which were designed by Italdesign, and the EB 18/4 Veyron, designed by Hartmut Warkuss. There different cars but I agree they do look similar. Bentley also introduced the Hunaudieres BY 8.16 concept, which looks like the Veyron if you ask me
