I'd say go for the 380. You'd probably be able to get a nicer specced 380 for the same price of an XT. I've been in a 380 recently and it's very nice to sit in and nicely refined. However, my old man who normally drives a RWD car said the turning circle is pretty rubbish.
Basically, go drive them both and see which you like. Don't bother trying to go quickly in either of them, there's no point. Go buy an XR6 if you wanna do that.
