I've had macs for years and never had any problems with them. Recently I purchased an HP laptop because it was half the price of a mac. Macs tend to not try to do so much for you, compared to windows which has a lot of "auto" stuff that just ends screwing stuff up.
So now I'm saving for a mac notebook.
