An instant clue that you have far too much trust in the media. What Tesla Roadster is better than many sports cars? WHICH ONE? OH WAIT, THERE AREN'T ANY. There is no consumer data for you to base your claims on. For all we know the Tesla Roadster could be a boring, fragile, piece of SCAM. Lets wait until a customer receives a car to pass judgement. By the way, the only road-test I've seen for the TESLA are from pre-production mules given to some magazines. And even in those magazine test they acknowledged that the car couldn't be "tracked" or driven hard for extended periods, had smaller than advertised range, and didn't corner as well as they expected. And as already mentioned, just because the pollution created by the Tesla isn't seen doesn't mean it doesn't exist. Energy isn't free and most "socket power" comes from fossil-fuel burning PLANTS.

How about YOU pick up a book and read, and put down the magazines and newspapers that have brainwashed you. What obvious signals are there that global warming exist? BECAUSE IT'S HOT OUTSIDE? The temperture averages today aren't the highest they've been in the PREVIOUS 200 YEARS. As recently as the early 1900's saw tempertures higher than what they are today. Global warming can suck an apple. Ima rock with BIG CARS if I want as long as I can afford the gas.
