BMW certainly could put the cat amongst the pigeons in qualifying as they did last week. I'd still predict that the Ferraris will be the cars to beat. They've been the most consistently quick throughout the weekend, provided they don't stack things like last week then I think an all Ferrari front row is pretty likely. The McLarens will be close, as Hamilton proved they do have the one-lap pace when it's called for. They were definitely keeping their powder dry in this final session, both drivers concentrating on set up work for longer runs with heavier fuel loads.
Heidfeld's time was pretty much the only time all weekend that BMW have threatened the top of the time sheets. Whether they've been sandbagging or Heidfeld just produced a miracle lap in the final few seconds remains to be seen.
I'd love to tell you all about what happened throughout the session, but sadly I was 'watching' on a dodgy stream from French television with a screen size of about 1 inch square, and running at about 3fps. I didn't see a damn thing!
