From 1964 throughout early 1965, the Giulia GTC was equipped with a central shield in the front grille similar to that reported in the picture given below (notice only six horizontal small bars under the Alfa Romeo - Milano emblem!).

This shield - at that time - was the same of the coupé version of the Giulia Sprint GT. Starting from the end of 1965, a front grille shield showing seven small horizontal bars was unified for all Giulias GT, GTC and GTV (see picture given below, where a GTC and a GTV are compared).

Today, it is almost impossible to find the very early version of the front central shield for Giulia GT/GTC! We can only find on the market few original shields of the later version (after 1965) even if at high prices.
Nevertheless, the grille as a whole was ever different in GTC and in GTV.
