well the lower part is of aluminium, and considering the tag price, a composite chassis probably was out of possibilities. i am very surprised of the tiny superior part though, i thought it was of a bigger thickness. considering that the car is light and, in order to be a sport car, has a good stifness, i'm happy to see it. i was a little scarred by the dimensions of the pillars in the new cars.
