P4g4nite, I'd recommend you clean the sand out of your v4g4na, because that minnow-tail Duetto Spider made Dustin Hoffman into something more that cool. Hoffman, in The Graduate, ITQHO, played one of the most sublimely cool characters of the color-movie era, including Captain America from Easy Rider as well as including Barry Foster Newman, who played "Jimmy" Kowalski from Vanishing Point:

Of course, Barry Newman fell into the coolness bush league when compared with Peter Fonda's stupifying (yes, it is the right word) portrayal of Captain America in Easy Rider:

In the wide world of coolness, Dustin Hoffman's "The Graduate" performance earned the Big Golden Coolie award of Coolness, as Peter Fonda should have also — the others were close, but Hoffman distilled the angst of the '60s to such a pure level that all followers, however skilled, were playing catchup well into the late 1970s.
