Don't be, the classic car market is the one thing doing very well indeed. Especially high-end - the super-rich feel very little of this "crunch"

1) It was only an engine deal, if i remember correctly. BMW did nothing but provide the engine.
2) Funnily, they weren't even first choice. McLaren wanted a Honda engine first anyway.
The SLR was actually a Merc as well as a McLaren, the F1 wasn't a BMW. Zonda anyone?
