Not really. You can engage LC in newer cars with VDC on.
The GT-R's DCT helps too. Unlike in the Scuderia's system, torque is still being transmitted to the wheels during shifts.
By no accident, Ferrari has a DCT in the California. Tests in both the US and Italy are showing it to be much faster than something like an Audi R8, a car with a slightly better power to weight ratio. |
