Car in reverse = engine spins backward = supercharger pulls air out of cylinder. Flawless logic. So really, a turbo car in reverse would get a supercharger effect going on. Awesome.

Christ, I haven't seen such fail since -what- stepped onto our forums.

edit- actually there was a car, the Zeta that actually ran backwards as a way to engage reverse. Of course, it was such shit it faded into obscurity.

didn't the messershmidt (hopefully spelt correctly) 3-wheeler run the engines backwards for reverse

i heard that from some show that because of something like that it could hit it's top speed in both forward and reverse
