I bet the gas mileage is absolutely repulsive. Still, it's a crazy fast car

Dear Lord! That thing is absolutely crazy! 10 litres, 855bhp... what do you mean, it's not as fast as you thought it would be? Looks good, too!

I don't get it, it says 9804cc (which is actually 9.8l not 10.0l) and it still claims to be a V8 when it is obviously 2 302cid(4.9l each) V8's.

I also have to agree with kylekosir, it's not as fast (judging by the ¼ mile time) as it should be with 855bhp/790lb-ft, it should be in the mid 9's - as the pictures only show 1 engine maybe the car doesn't really exist.

My old '70 Roadrunner would run fairly consistent 10.8's at around 127-130mph with around 550hp (never had it dynoed) and a 3 speed auto tranny, it also weighed 3700lbs, my '94 'stang did a best ¼ mile of 11.2@122 mph, but was consistent mid 11's in the 115-120mph and that was with less than 500hp (probably closer to 430-450hp) with a 5 speed.

Wheelspin is no excuse for a bad e.t., if (and for me its a big "IF") this car exists and really does produce 855bhp money would/should have been spent on a 4 link or at least a ladder bar set-up and some really sticky rubber - non-D.O.T. dirt track tires.

It's still in one piece, and no evident puddle of oil under it either.

Rumour has it that John Coletti (SVT Director) will be bringing it home whenever he decides to retire.

Here's a few pics from about a yr ago.

Now don't I feel stupid for not noticing it was a big block(428 badge on valve cover) ,

I'm amazed they were able to punch it out to 600+ cid tho.
