I know a lot has been said about the new M5 and especially its engine... but one fact i cannot find: the difference in weight between the V8 of the old M5 (E39) and the V10 of the new M5 (E60)!
Can anyone help me with this?
PS: its something like 1 or 10 kg's heavier... but i need to know exactly!

i think one of the main accomplishements was that it was the same size engine, but 10 cylinders, and the exact same weight

i don't think it that much heavier but the new V10 pumps out a ton of horsepower, coming in a 507 hp. quite amazing in a sedan. what is the difference between BHP and HP. is there any difference? and i know that the B in BHP stands for brake but that mean anything different than just plain HP?
