There's one like this for sale on a Venezuelan web page for used cars. Is blue like the one on the picture you posted. year 1994 with only 7,000 miles but they are asking for $100,000 I don't know if it is too much for that car, it probably is cause in that web page when they put the price in dollars they ask for too much money. The car is beautiful though, if you wanna check it out the web page is www.tucarro.com click on venezuela and then look for ferrari on the left side.

That's actually cheap. The car cost more than 2x that much new and it only has 7k miles.

Great, so i'd be a good business to bring it from there and sell it in the states.
A friend of mine brought his 3000 gt vr4 to the states for $2500 (and that's a pretty heavy car and they charge for wheight)
I thought it was expensive cause u can see 2004 Hummers for more than 100Gs on that site so....

You thought a Hummer should cost more than a 456?

Well since the thread was revived I should go ahead and say... No.
What I meant was that since Hummers sell for US $100K in that site seeing the Ferrari at 100K too made me think that it was over priced (Just like the Hummers are)
And please excuse my english in previous posts in this thread.
Wow, that was a long time ago. :)

IT sure beats the living shit out of the 612, and is most beautiful out of 360, 575 and Enzo. Probably one of the most, if not the most beautiful Ferraris in the last 15 years.

Have you seen the Scaglietti in person yet? It's a much more daring design than the rather bland 456, and it looks very well proportioned despite having four seats.

i have but i have not seen a 456 in the metal. i remember looking at the concept sketches for the 612 and thinking it would be a killer replacement but in the metal i think it dissapoints. it has some good angles like the front 3/4 but i don't think the headligths balance the grill well enough and the back looks to bulbous with the small tail lights.
i think the 456 is more cohesive and has the best rear end since the daytona (which it pays homage to... a bit :))

I like both the 456 and the 612, save for the taillights on the 456 (I probably would like the usual separate, round ones better, but I'm not sure since I've never seen a 456 like that) and the not-so-aggressive looking front of the 612. I think both look quite elegant.

I agree, the 612 looks about 10x better in the flesh, but in my mind, it doesn't even compare to the 456. I think the 456 looks more special, like a Ferrari should.

Beautiful Ferrari.
Actually, the 1st one I saw with rear seats. :D
Anyways, Ferrari of Dallas seems to sell these guys cheap for about $80K to $120K.
That is cheap for the states, right?

the 456 ids the UGLIEST ferrari ever! they should have made it a 2 seater more like the predeccesor to the 550, with a les ungainly rear quarter window

They made it a 4-seater for a reason. But maybe I should leave the decision-making to you, since I am not a Ferrari executive. ;)

i know, but if you make it a four seater, dont try to keep coupe rooflines and still give rear passengers 100% visibility, sacrifice 2 passengers or some of the rear view

But why, i mean.... F355 doesnt look as good as this? Whats so attractive about it, its like an older 612 with worse performance.

I take it your into the new look of Ferrari?
I personally am very disappointed with this new style.

Which modles do you consider its "new style"?
I really dislike the 612, the F430 is pretty nice, enzo is ok, and the 550/575M are amazing, probably two of my fav ferraris of all time.

I agree with Wouter, the 612 looks pretty good when you see it first hand. I was unsure of it from pics I'd seen, but "in the metal" its pretty sweet looking...
Also, there is a guy in town that has a black 456M GTA and it's bad ass...

I think this car is underestimated by most people, and how is this ugly? I can't think of any ferrari that could actually be called ugly, especially not this one. A ferrari that lets you carry more than just a couple of grocery bags, what more could anyone want:). This car desserves some praise. New ferrari style is taking me too long to get used to. I'm stuck in the mid 90's.
