So...according to what usual goes on, we should be moving into spring and begin to be greated with mild climates....so what do we get? (First time I have seen snow in two years!)

Snowed here all night, and into the morning. But by the time it was slushy, more snow was coming down, and it just melted :(

the snow here has been following this formality:

1) snow like hell
2) wind like hell
3) sunny like hell
4) melts like hell
5) repeat

Its been snowing here for like the past week, and we've had snow since sometime in November. I want it to go away now.

I find this quite enjoyable as up here in lovely Canada, if we got an inch of show we wouldn't be worrying about missing work or school, nothing would be sent out to clear it, we wouldnt even think of shoveling that much

We got a minor dusting here. Not even enough for doing handbrake turns in car parks. Bugger.

I hate other drivers in the snow, they just crawl along at 5mph spinning the wheels, then sliding around instead of stopping. And then there are the ones that clear all the snow off their windscreen and dump it on the bonnet so they can't see anything infront of them until they go over 30 and it all blows back onto the windscreen.

Please, let me repeat my statement, and bold the important bit. :D

There you go Spaz.

I only had the 6 considering I had to go to work in 3-4 hrs and didn't necessarily intend on going to my delivery job drunk. I only had a mellow buzz, if that by the time I left.

Well, the vast majority of you haven't experienced a 44 degrees celsius and 46 degrees celsius day ( that's approximatley 110-115 degrees Fahrenheit)... here, in Australia (Adelaide city). SO, DON"T complain about the snow. :D :D :o

Probably that's not even the coldest here during the last couple of years, but that's the coldest I remember because I played hockey that day. :D

It was snowing just a few minutes ago, but it's already mostly melted. I remeber one year we have enough snow so that the drift in my front yard was almost as tall as my house and there were like foot thick layers of snow and then about 3 inch thick layers of ice. We could run on top of the drifts without falling through the snow, but it was really hard to dig out of.

You just have to love the winter:D I'll top that with a temperature difference of 110 degrees celsius, from sauna with 90 degrees to outside with -20.

And to keep myself at least a bit in topic we had first snow in october or november, first constant snow a week before christmas iirc. Now there's about 20-30 cm and it should melt pretty quickly as soon as the temperature rises above zero and the sun keeps shining.

90 degrees celcius? I didn't think that was even survivable.

Twinspark, you have to remember you can always put on more clothes if the temperature is very cold, say -26 degrees celsius... but if the temperature is very hot, let's say 42 degrees celsius, you can't take off any more clothes. Unless you want to be arrested for indecent exposure. :D

Unless you want to be arrested for indecent exposure. :D That's true, I didn't mean to say that +42 degrees celsius is nothing compared to -26. If I had to choose one of those two to live all the time, I'd take the -26 without hesitation. But for a short period I'd take the 42, for difference if nothing else.

90 degrees celcius? I didn't think that was even survivable. It's very survivable, in fact we often go above 100 degrees in sauna.
