There's a lot of us here, but how many of us have actually passed our driving tests?

I'm curious :)

I'll get the ball rolling!

tell me about it. i sat my test in the 2nd easiest place in Scotland - Blairgowrie. I also done "pass plus" (optional 6 hours of advanced lessons- attitude, motorway, night, adverse weather and car consideration) so after only 4 years driving i almost have 3 years no claims bonus.

I don't currently have a full license, which is a bit of a pisstake because public transport is for tramps.

I'll have my learner license on January 25th. Will probably get my full license in september, since here in Québec you can have your full license 8 months after you have your learner license, if you take driving lessons.

during my first test i drove on the wrong side of the road. just yesterday, i managed to stall the GT3..twice. engine noise does not always equal revs, it would appear. just because it sounds like it's doing 2000rpm...

Been driving for nearly 4 years now, passed both my G1 and G2 tests first time through. I really should get my G (Ontario's highest license graduation), but I'm lazy.

The guy I'm selling my car to is planning to do the same thing, he won't get caught either with there being around 10 police cars to patrol the county on an "eventful" Saturday night. Makes me wonder why I bothered, by the end of the year I will have spent over £2000 on lessons, tests and insurence while the fine for being caught without a license, tax and insurence is £400 or so.

of the three steps in our graduated licencing system, I have 2 of the 3, the third step isnt much different from the second, just you are allowed a small amount of alocohol and more people after midnight

Making it so everyone's posts would be the other way around? Big diff:p.

Well no, some people aren't old enough to have their tests, and some people passed right away, some failed then passed, some just failed...

Got it little over a month ago :) I failed twice. Once my own mistake and once on a mistake of the examiner (says my instructor).

Still need to take public transport though,it simply costs too much to drive daily.

:o Nah it was one of these in metallic blue, a non-Desmo (thank god) but it DID have Ceriani forks and Contis, the 40mm Delorto pumpers & reground cams and an (extra) SS seat

How much you reckon I paid for a big Duke only 3 y/o? It cost me $1250!

One of my BMW riding brothers was so impressed with it he later bought one of the final SS bevels, those beautiful black & gold ones, it was almost new when he got it!

I passed my test and got my L/learner's plates a few months ago, so I can only drive if a person who has a full licence is sitting in the passenger seat. I still need to pay for some driving lessons and complete a log-book to get my P plates. ;)

As of the 16th of August, 2006, I was legally allowed to terrorise Canberran Roads.

And I've loved every blood curdling minute of it.

I passed on my third attempt (I failed twice 'cause I didn't want to bribe the examiners). It was almost 7 years ago - the last year when you could get a licence at 17yo (now it's 18yo).
