Happy 5,024th post to Rik, speaking of whom, I saw your Radiohead music video on MySpace the other day. What grade did you get for it, I thought it was pretty awesome.

Yeah, I realise some of my posts/most of my posts/almost all of my early posts are/were pretty pointless.

Awesome, it is coursework? What did you use to create it?

Cotterik
02-07-2007, 06:45 AM
yeah media studies coursework

i used just an average digivideo camera, and iMovie on the Mac

iMovie comes standard on Macs don't they? I'm looking for a Mac but don't know much about them.

Awsome, is iMovie similar to Windows Movie Maker? Just more... Maccy?

it probably works! From my experience with windows movie maker i would expect imovies to have more features.

Windows Movie Maker, having used it, is a cheap rip-off of iMovie. iMovie definitely works. You can add SFX, lighting effects, titles, chapters, separate clips from movies, pictures as intros, etc. We use it at 6th Form College- so it ain't shabby. Even better- you can integrate it with iDVD. I really hope I don't have to explain what iDVD does...

Awesome, I use Windows Movie Maker all the time with my videos on YouTube and I find it rather shitty so hopefully if I manage to get a Mac of some kind my videos can become better, more refined and more proffesional looking, so I hope...

iMovie is actually pretty damn good for a standard piece of software. it does everything you want it to at amateur level. And fast too if you have a modern mac.
