From Autoblog (http://www.autoblog.com/2007/11/26/the-production-1018-hp-ccxr-is-here-0-60-in-2-9-sec/):

Koenigsegg has released some full-on shots of the production CCXR -- probably a new one, and not the 1-of-a-kind CCXR crashed by Top Gear. The biofuel-powered car has a twin supercharged 4.8-liter V8, and will put out 1,018-HP at 7,200 RPM, and you'll get 740 lb-ft of torque out of it.

And if you want to break those numbers down, you'll get from the stoplight to 60 in 2.9 seconds, and the good Swedes claim you can take it past 248 MPH. However, in order to make any use of those numbers you need to first get past this one: €1,575,000, plus taxes and fees, to take it home. Check out the gallery of pics below, and check out the full specs on the car after the jump.

Pretty cool, and pretty fast. Pics below. What's your take?

i think theyre going to keep evolving their original CC design so far until something will end up like the "koeniggseggnoggsig CCRXRXRRGT" as jeremy clarkson would put it :p

Yeah, this car company gets more awesome each model it comes out with.

It's the same one with more power, but who would turn down more power? :D

It's got a god-awful spoiler, though.

Want it. Need it. Koenigseggs seem to get more and more bad@$$ with every model.

The press-release on the Koenigsegg web-site says that this is the “Special Edition,” available as either a CCX or CCXR…

Its all carbon fiber?

It looks really good, especially around back. It looks like they added downforce now so handling should improve, but with 1000hp, controlling it should be tricky. Koenigsegg gets another nod of approval from me, each model they produce impresses me more and more.

Its all carbon fiber?

Would be hard to build the whole car in carbon fiber don't you think?

Probably needs a big ass spoiler though even though I agree with you.

It's a technical masterpiece... but gosh, it's ugly... Honestly, I'd stick with a Veyron!

In point of fact the last one already did 242, so clearly not.

Its all carbon fiber?

No, the rear sub-frame is steel, but other than that it's pretty close.

No. Pagani don't seem to have any troubles, nor do every single F1 team.

The pictures shown in the first post are actually of the CCXR Special Edition. And according to Auto-Salon-Singen who are prepared to take orders, they have been told by Koenigsegg to expect a $2 million tag, $1 million more than the CCXR, and $1.4 million more than a CCX.

What do you get from moving up from the CCXR to this? From the same report, 1016Hp to 1018Bhp, and exposed carbon fibre.

As much fun as you'd have driving this car, the best moments you'll ever have with the car are when (and I'm not sure if they have these outside of California) you get to park in special spots for hybrids and biofuel cars, or when you pull up next to someone in a Prius and as they give a dissaproving look, you shoot it right back at them and say, "Fossil fuels? Puleeez! I use renewable energy sources! Polutier."

The downside is with the dollar being what it is this car will run you around 2.4$. Owch.
