according to motortrend that is.

2010 Chevrolet Camaro - Gotta Have Cars - Motor Trend (http://www.motortrend.com/future/future_vehicles/112_0806_2010_chevy_camaro_gotta_have_cars)

for those of you too lazy to click the link. it says low to mid 20's for the v6. 27k for the z28 and around 40k for the ss (packing 500hp).

also it looks like the v6 will be the 300hp direct injection high feature v6 from the cts.

its amazing how far cars have come. in 2002 the z28 has 320 hp. seven years pass and now the v6 is packing 300.

either way, things are looking great for the new camaro.

i think its slated to be a 2010 model (like the hardtop) but it will be released just before summer where as the hardtop will be released toward the end of 2009 even though it will be called a 2010 model.

Great. As an over-sexed, raging-hormones teenager, I'll take a white SS convertible with red stripes. That should get the ladies running. :D

I'll definitely be getting one of these or a challenger.

camaro all the way! if this pricing is correct, it will be cheaper and lighter than a challenger.

although i hate to say it, but i think the challenger is better looking

agreed.
although, if it came down to my money, i wouldn't be blowing it on this fake retro stuff, i'd be in line for the coupe 60.

Here's something interesting:
2010 Chevrolet Camaro vs. 2009 Dodge Challenger SRT8 Comparison Test Feature - Inside Line (http://www.edmunds.com/insideline/do/Features/articleId=124937)

Camaro vs Challenger. To me, they're both a bit overweight for what they're supposed to be. :P

According to the article, theoretically, the Camaro should be better than the challenger, and the Shelby GT500 better than both unless GM decides on a higher spec Camaro.

qft i'd love a coupe 60 - best looking HSV ever
but....a camaro in navy blue with black alloys would look very much at home in the garage
