mine's the '51 Beetle split window second is the 1960's double cab truck.

you can tell that VW has always focused more on practicality and function that style and charisma by the lack of posts on this thread !! everyone wants to join, but they can't think of a VW model that really inspired them.

I'm not going to count the W12 Nardo as a real Vdub, so I'll have to go with one that's a little more affordable:

I totally agree, the Corrado is sweet ....I just don't know why they dropped it from the line , it should have been the R32 :D

the GTI has always been VW's most inspiring model.
i owuld of liked the rear bumper to be same color as the car though. would of looked better than that black i think.

VW is the 2nd best german car for me:D
my best car is lamborghini but not lot s of people coud aford it if i could i would buy one directly my 2nd best car BMW

The 95-97 passat glx's have to be one of the best vw produstion cars, they handle and perform like cars twice their price. The VR6 engine is also a great engine mine is 7 years old and at 82 thousnad miles and runs basicallly like new. Also the body looks much better then the ne audi like models.:)

Oh!! I forgot to say, this is the VW SP2 produced in Brazil in the 70´s... most exactly at 1972, and the german magazine "Hobby" claimed him as "The most beautifull VW in the world".
The US magazine "Car & Driver" said to VW´s HQ to build world wide this car...
