A) Renault Clio Initiale 1.6 16V full option
B) BMW 330Cd full option (yep coupé diesel)
C) Lotus Elise
D) Mercedes S400 CDI L full option
E) Aston Martin DB9
F) Ferrari 612 F1 (couldn't find anything cooler in this price range, i'll think another day about it)
G) In this price range I'd ask Renault for a body of the Fluence prototype, ask Lotus to design a perfect chassis/suspension for it, ask BMW to design a perfect V8+SMG combination, Renault will design the seats, TVR will design the dashboard with the help of Volvo (for ergonomics) and VAG will build the dashboard (the only thing they're good at).

But seriously an existing car: Mercedes SLR.

What's not real about it ? And err... front engined, what's the problem with that ? That you think it's ugly is entirely your opinion, I think it looks quite good.

You must be really rich to consider a car between 20.000 € - 50.000 € a shitbox... And you can get a very nice car for under 20.000 €...

What car do you drive?

You expect a supercar to be rear engined? Most supercars don't fit this category, most are mid-engined.

IMO these are the "archetype" supercars of these day:

CGT
Enzo
Zonda
Koensigsegg
Four-Twelve
Murcielago
F50

All rear engined...

The SLR doesn't play in the same league but i'm tired of explaining that...
Sure you got your point but... hmm i got mine

Those cars are mid-engined, the Porsche 911 is rear engined.

Their engines are placed between cockpit and rear axle.
Sure its called mid engined. Though the engine is placed in the rear of the car.
My fault to mix the definitions...
But the point we are talking about is the engine location of the 612
wich is in the front not in the "rear" or the "mid".
The 612 a front engined supercar ??
Not for me...

Nobody said it was a supercar, it's a GT.

As for supercars, I don't really care too much for them, they are impractical and quite useless on the road these days. You can't use them to their full potential. They're nice to have in your garage and go to the bakery on a sunday morning, that's about it. If I had the money I wouldn't even think about buying one.

I'm glad you made the list. If you hadn't, I was going to. The VERY FIRST Ferrari and most Ferraris are front-engined. The Lamborghini Miura was the first mid-engined production car. So, if anything, the mid-engined Ferraris aren't the real Ferraris (not that I believe that...but by your reasoning).
