Chinese Auto Company to Compete In ETCC

Should be interesting to see China break into world class automotive competition in the European Touring Car Championship. The company is Zhonghuacar, the car doesn't look that bad really.

Zhonghuacar

even at my age I was able to discover that, but somehow uploading did not go smoothly I vaguely saw a avatar sized pic a car in racing colours, but clicking on it did not produce any further results.

my favourite was "with humanistic consideration in every way possible"

Classis translation by a Chinese speaker
We have this all the time as 3 of my products are developed in Beijing !!!

What is even funnier though - and I've stopped - are my attempts at speaking Chinese. I get all the tonal strengths in the wrong places and invariably end up speaking absolute drivel

You have GOT to read further, it is briliant

Steady & Graceful
The overlarge luggage compartment [4.88 mื1.45 m (LืH) , 550L], with its golden section, is in full accord with Chinese individual demand. Facing its innate grace and added steadiness, limitless homage betrays itself in a natural manner.

?huh?

and later it gets even better

ZhongHua Passenger car is self-composed just as your gentlemanship or your ladyship, and with due presence of mind upon emergencies, it tries its best to assist you in striding steadily toward success.

Stinks of an online translation. I used to get customers from Eastern Europe email me questions that had been written in (e.g.) Romanian, and put through an online translator to English. Hilarious! Not at all what they wanted to say.

I can't understand why these companies don't just get in contact with ONE person who speaks English to proof read these things. It is just stupid.

They do, but sadly it's usually a local tlansration srvice who have Engrish-speaking emproyees

This is why they'll be wanting to buy up MG. The technology that is worth anything is the English speaking staff. So Abingdon will provide the "English proof reading" expertise and China will design and build all the cars !!!!
