for your information....ive never played gran turismo.....im talking about real life here, not video games. the only way that a 2 wheel drive car can b faster then a4 wheel drive car in the 1/4 mile is if it has huge drag slicks, and the 4 wheel drive car is running less aggressive tires, then the 2wd car might have a chance

You should. Its good fun. The GT4 will be even better when you can play on line. The only way you can prove your theory is to have two identical cars with only the drive line differing.

oooooo looks like a 3000gt...i guess it is.....the turbo 3000gt is fast....but not skyline fast.....a 3000gt is very very heavy, and that balances out the power that it makes.

im gonna go with crisis with this one on the awd, awd cars loose alot of power to the drivetrain, prime example, an eclipse gt-s and an eclipse gs-x both have the same power yet one is fwd the other is awd, yet i have seen stock gt-s's beat the stock gs-x's, shure the awd car hooks up in the begining but latter down the track the gt-s blows by because its getting more power to the ground awd is good for launching and getting traction when it is needed all other times its just saping power, with awd you can get understeer and it can feel unbalanced at times rwd cars just feel better to me, but its all about preference, the awd car doesnt always win tho

By making a big deal about "getting the power to the ground with only two wheels", I'm assuming you're talking about drag racing. Why then do most 900 hp Toyota Supras and Skylines, etc consistently run many seconds slower in the quarter-mile than their equivalently powered V8 counterparts?

Just for the record, I am definately not trying to start an "anti-asian car" flame war, I'm just asking a question. I wholy support domestic and import markets, and I tend to favour Japanese and European sports cars over American ones.

in some cases v8 powered drag cars have wider powerbands thereby not requiring the closer ratio transmissions of the said supra and skyline's and their peaky powerbands thereby ruducing shifting and the time the power isnt on
