I think those that say the AE86 is one of the top 5 best looking jap cars are just going with what seems the cool thing to do. The car is pretty bland and I'm sure few like them for their looks but they bought them because of their legend status and they're fun to drive.

Put a 3000GT and a AE86 next to eachother. Which one looks better? be honest...

the 240z doesnt compare to the 2000 GT , next to a 2000gt the Z is Ugly!

such a Pity they only made 300-odd . if they made them new again today id buy one!

I'll be a bit of a lemon but for me the Nissan R390 is the best looking Japanese super car esque sport scar it will always stand out to me as a triumph of design, a lot of Japanese sports cars look good they are not as beautiful as some of the Euro cars or as stylish and classy but they ooze function and how advanced cars have become.
